Creation in progress – Here and Now
Synopsis
Here and Now is a choreographic solo that explores the path to full presence, where the body, breath and vibration become the revealers of an inner transformation.
Through an intimate journey, the dancer encounters memories of the past, projections into the future, and the resistances of the mind. Little by little, he relinquishes the need for control to allow a broader, freer, and profoundly alive presence to emerge.
At the crossroads of contemporary dance, hip-hop, Tantra Yoga, Naad Yoga, mantras, and meditation, movement becomes a practice of awareness. Each gesture arises from the breath, each vibration opens a space of silence where the body reveals what words cannot express.
Without a prescribed narrative, Here and Now invites the viewer to a sensory experience, where dance becomes a path to reconnecting with oneself. A celebration of the present moment, inner freedom, and the joy of being fully alive.
Statement of intent
After several years devoted to meditation, Tantra Yoga and deep inner research, I now feel the need to return to choreographic creation with a completely renewed perspective.
Here and Now is the meeting of two paths that have always been part of my life: dance and yoga. One gives visible form to the invisible; the other invites unity, silence, and presence. Together, they become a unique language where the body no longer seeks to demonstrate, but to reveal being.
This creation does not tell a story. It offers an experience. An invitation to slow down, to breathe, and to rediscover that inner space where every movement arises from awareness rather than performance.
My intention is to offer a show that touches both the body and the heart, where movement becomes meditation, where breath becomes music, and where every presence in the room participates in the same vibration of life.
The creation stages
1. Physical re-emergence
The first phase is dedicated to returning the body to its full availability: physical preparation, breathing, mobility, yoga practice, improvisation and reappropriation of movement after several years of inner exploration.
2. Second choreographic laboratory
Exploration and experimentation phase. Research into the links between dance, breath, vibration, mantras and silence. Development of choreographic vocabulary and initial creative materials.
3. Third stage – Choreographic creation
Composition of the solo, writing of the sequences, work on the dramaturgy, space, music, light and stage presence in order to give birth to the work in its artistic form.
4. Choreographic performance
Public presentation of Here and Now. The show becomes a space for sharing where artists and spectators experience together an experience of presence, breath and transformation through movement.
